Dorothy was born to Amos Lee and Rebecca F. (Hatman) Marney. She married Richard Keith Kicksey 04 Mar 1982 in Sterling, Whiteside, IL. She worked at National Mfg. for 27 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and canning, reading, sewing and quilting. She loved rummage sales and watch the Bulls and QVC. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Donald Bradley Hames. She has three daughters and nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren surviving her.
