Bettie Jane Foth, nee Soat, 83, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on September 9, 2007. Bettie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Harry and Alice Soat (Blanche) on October 14,1923. Bettie married Ralph Foth, the love of her life, on June 21, 1947. She was employed by American Family Insurance in Brookfield, Wisconsin, until retiring and moving to Arizona in 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, brother Harry, and parents Harry and Alice Soat. Survivors include her daughter, Nanci Rutter (Mark) of Gilbert, grandchildren, Dave Rutter of Gilbert, Angie George (Jason ) of Chandler, Mike Rutter of Sarasota, Florida and her adorable great-granddaughters, Haylee and Dylann George of Chandler. The family sincerely thanks the wonderful nurses and caregivers at Ahwatukee Adult care who so lovingly looked after our mother and grandmother the final two years of her life. We also thank the the nurses and caregivers at Hospice of Arizona who cared for Bettie with love and dignity. Friends may visit after 10 a.m., and are invited to attend funeral services at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2007 BOTH at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ, 85248.
