He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Springfork Missionary Baptist Church. He was survived by his wife, one daughter; two sons; three brothers; eight grandchildren. Funeral service was held at Springfork Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Stevens-Grass Funeral Home, Malden in charge of arrangements.
