Manitowoc - David Nicholas Musselman, age 33, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at his residence, following his struggle with addiction.

David was born on September 1, 1986, Labor Day, in Two Rivers to Wanda (Sterrenburg) and the late Howard Musselman. He graduated from Lutheran High School with the class of 2004 and was active with the school's band and wrestling team. David had previously worked at Larsioni's The Pizzaria, Studio 8, Lakeside Foods, Kwik Trip, and Broadwind Energy. David had a big heart and loved animals. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending countless hours talking with his family and many friends. One of his passions was collecting and gifting heart-shaped rocks. David also had a lifelong enthusiasm for collecting, tinkering with, and riding bicycles. The greatest joy and pride of his life was being a father.

Survivors include David's mother, Wanda (Andy) Larson, Two Rivers; the mother of his children, Brittany Musselman, Manitowoc; two children, Lorelai and Archer; sisters, Crystal Maratik, Heidi Charboneau, Lainey Perez, Terrin Musselman, and Skylar Shanyfelt; brothers, Eric Hoes and Alan Musselman; paternal grandparents, Bette and Terry Rose, Cleburne, TX; significant other, Lindsey Sukowaty, and their dog, Mia, Manitowoc; also step-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Howard; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Elizabeth Sterrenburg; great uncles, Fred and Hank Klusmeyer; lifelong friend, Paul Torsch; and Lindsey's father, Dale Scheley. David was further preceded in death by his many friends who also lost their battles with addiction: Elizabeth, Dan, Trevor, Jake, Travis, Ryan, along with many others. May they all have found their peace.

A Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 612 North Water St., Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of David's cremated remains on his uncle's grave space at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
