HARRY S. THOMAS ~ (27 February 1912~19 January 1990)

He is the son of the late Terry Thomas and Verona [White] Thomas.

He died Friday, January 19, 1990 at a Princeton, West Virginia hospital after a long illness.

He was a member of Bud Missionary Baptist Church; a retired disabled coal miner with 46 years service, last employed at Herndon. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, District 29, Beckley, WV.

Survivors, his wife Lillie [Tilley] Thomas; a son, Wayne Thomas; a grand-daughter, Diane Shrewsbury; a great-grand-son, Jerry Wayne Shrewsbury; three brothers, Paul, Bill, and James Thomas; and five sisters, Linda Thomas, Daphne Duncan, Margaret Culbertson, Gladys Lawrence, and Fern Milam.

Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 1990 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Princeton, WV. with the Rev. Charles M. Bulbils officiating. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, West Virginia.
