Sherri Layne Barnhill, 69 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was the widow of the late Fred Barnhill. They were married on June 11, 1997 and shared 17 years of marriage together.


Sherri was born on May 28, 1951 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Rollin and Faye Barron. She was the eldest of two daughters. Sherri was a graduate of Springdale High School where she was a Feature Twirler and named Miss Springdale High 1969. She was a savvy businesswoman and owned multiple successful small businesses. Sherri was also recognized as a long drive golf champ.


Sherri had a contagious smile and laugh. She was a generous and caring person, devoted mother and friend, and always put others first. "To know her was to love her!" Sherri was the proud mother of her beloved son, Jared, and her triplet daughters, Jenna, Jaime and Jill. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys.


Sherri cherished life and would start each day drinking her coffee, reading her bible and praying. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Flagstone Church of Christ where she attended with her children. Sherri enjoyed gardening (sunflowers and tomatoes), golf, wool hooking, going to the ocean (Gulf Shores), and spending time with her life-long friends.


Sherri leaves to cherish her loving memory her , son and daughter-in-law, three daughters and two sons-in-law, six grandchildren, and sister.


The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Rogers Cemetery (510 S 10th Street, Rogers, Arkansas). Social distancing will be observed and face masks required in accordance with the City of Rogers Mandate.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations be sent to Circle of Life Hospice at 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 (Memo: In Memory of Sherri Barnhill).
