Hon. Jules A. Brillant was the husband of the late Rose-De-Lima Coulombe by first marriage and Agnès Villeneuve by second marriage. He was born on 06/30/1888 in Assametquaghan near Routhierville in the Matapedia Valley. He died on May 11, 1973 at the Mont-Joli Hospital. His funeral took place in Rimouski Cathedral on Tuesday May 15, 1973 at 11 a.m. Bissonnette. Mr. Jules-A. Brillant created an empire for himself and he was a particularly skillful and ambitious business man. He founded, among others, the Corporation de Téléphone et de Pouvoir de Québec. Founds the CJBR radio station, now owned by Radio-Canada. S-27.
