Paula Jean Childs passed into God's peace on Sept 11, 2007. She was born March 27, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. She married her high school sweetheart, Mike, on March 5, 1976 and from that day on they never looked back. Her greatest legacy from that union was her son Brandon, now 26 years old. Mike and Brandon were the loves of her life and that love will carry on forever. One of Paula's greatest gifts was putting everyone else's needs first before hers. Over the past few years, Paula endured many challenges and obstacles that few people can understand or relate to. Paula is survived by her loving husband Mike, son Brandon as well as many other wonderful people she cherished. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ussery and father-in-law, Gerald Childs. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sat. Sept 15 at the Higley Ward of the LDS Church, 495 N. Greenfield Rd., Higley, AZ with a visitation held 1 hour prior at 9:00 AM.
