Catherine Imogene Nelson, 79, of Batesville,MS died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at her residence. Ms. Nelson was a housewife and a member of Truslow Methodist Church. Services were held Friday, February 15 at C.O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia, MS with interment in Longtown Cemetery in Longtown, MS. Pallbearers were Jim Weniger, Tim Tatum, Travis Nelson, Brian Geiger, William Stewart and Mike Morrow, Allen Kilgore officiated.
Ms. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Earl Nelson. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Taylor of Water Valley, MS, Sue Pittman of Batesville, MS, and Renee Brewer of Courtland, MS; two sons, Buddy Nelson and Donald Nelson, both of Batesville, MS; one sister, Shirley Mullins of Southaven, MS; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
