She was a Health Care Aide at the Subiaco Abbey, member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church-Paris and The Mother's Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Crescence Christine (Wewers) Geels, husband, Richard Ahrns and son, John Ahrns. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann and Sammy Gilbert; three sons, Louis Ahrns, Michael & Regina Ahrns and Paul Ahrns; one sister, Betsy Schluterman; three brothers, Boniface, Cletus and Lawrence "Butch" Geels and two grandchildren, Jason Ahrns and Justin Iames. Mass was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Paris, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Ratcliff, AR and Fr. Eugene Luke officiating, Pallbearers: Tim Geels, William Schluterman, Glen Stengel, Gary Duff, Justin Iames, Jason Ahrns.
