Troy Lee Ferrell, Jr., 51, of Castle Hayne passed from his earthly life Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1969 in Jones County and was preceded in death by his father, Troy Lee Ferrell, Sr.
Troy is survived by his wife, Cyndi Seymour Ferrell; son, Dewayne Ferrell; granddaughter, Everleigh Ferrell; mother, Margaret Parker Anderson and her husband, Roger; sisters, Julie Ferrell and Chrystal Ferrell; sister-cousin, Cindy Ferrell; and many extended family and friends.
Troy was a jack of all trades as he could fix most anything. In his younger years Troy reveled in go cart racing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in God's beautiful world of nature. Cooking, oh my! Troy could stir up some good food for all to enjoy, especially at fish fries and when grilling. By trade Troy was an excellent carpenter. He and Cyndi made many unique items. Most of all Troy loved his family. May we all remember the good and happy times.
Troy's family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the home of Betty Ferrell.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Riley's Creek Baptist Church, Rocky Point, with The Rev. Art Sauer conducting the service.
