Claude Atkins Sr, seventy years of age, passed away on March 23, 1994 at Berrien General Hospital. He was the son of James C and Addie Irene Smith Atkins.
He retired from Tyler Refrigeration as a shipping clerk, served his country in the US Army, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Sturgis, and the American Legion of Cedartown.
He is survived by his wife, Dorotha Vandelinse Grubbs Atkins; a daughter, Debbie Leighty; three sons, Jerry Atkins, William Gary Atkins, and Claude Atkins Jr; a brother, Father James Franklin Atkins; and seven grandchildren.
