WOMAN KILLED
Wife of cripple and mother of two, struck by auto.
Niagara Falls, Dec. 5 (Special) – Mrs. Edith Cornell, 40 years old, the wife of Harry A. Cornell, a cripple, was struck by an automobile truck owned and driven by Harry Taylor, a grocer, of No. 2616 Eleventh Street, about 6 o'clock last night. The accident occurred as the woman was crossing Eleventh street near the junction of that thoroughfare with Michigan avenue and Lockport street.
Mrs. Cornell was taken to the Memorial hospital, where she died. Besides her crippled husband, Mrs. Cornell leaves two children. She had been employed at the Niagara Falls Trust company and was on her way home from work when struck. Taylor reported the accident to the police and was not detained.
