Robert Earl Pierce Jr., 39, of Memphis, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at Memphis Regional Medical Center of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Services were Thursday at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks. Burial was in Longtown Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.

Pierce Jr., born Dec. 18, 1964, was a building contractor and an avid Harley Davidson rider and a member of FUSAN Club of Memphis.

Survivors include his parents, Ruby Pierce Yarborough of Memphis and Robert Earl Pierce of Courtland; one son Brian Christopher Tharnish of Memphis; one half-brother Robert “Clay” Pierce of Batesville; two sisters Vicki Pierce Millette of Crestview, Fla. and Darleen Pierce Stettes of Syracuse, N.Y.; grandparents, Lucille Morgan of Southaven and Robert Kuehner of Memphis.
