Mary Evelene Hughett, 81, of Spencer, Indiana, passed away September 12, 2020 at I.U. Bloomington Hospice House. She was born in Oolitic, Indiana July 31, 1939 to Jasper and Blanche (Lane) George.
She was previously employed with Boyd Music Company as a bookkeeper and accountant.
Mary is survived by her children, Sheila McGuire (Charles), Chris Harper (Tracy), Theresa Hibbard; siblings, Bea Wayman (Ernie), Ed George (Karen), Ralph George, David George, Carole Jarrett (James); sister-in-law, Sharon Hughes (Tony); fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband Stevan Hughett March 14, 2017 and son, Bryan Harper.
Services for Mary will be 1:30 p.m. September 16, 2020 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center - 1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker.
