Mr. Gordon Moore, age 88, of Grand Haven died July 20, 2006. He was born August 11, 1917 to the late Paul Henry & Etta (Brook) Moore in Muskegon, Mi. He married the former Angie Bonema, June 15, 1940 in Ionia, Mi. She passed away April 23, 2003. Gordon was employed as an engineer and maintenance worker by the Grand Haven Public Schools for 30 years. Prior to that he worked for Braak's Bakeries delivering bake goods to all the restaurants, stores and Coast Guard Ships including the Escanaba and the Mackinaw. Gordon was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Spring Lake. He is survived by his daughter; Joann Kay Moore, Grand Haven; his son; Roger (Lois) Moore of Grand Haven; 4 grandchildren; Kevin (Christy) Moore, Kelly (Jeff) Kurburski, Tracy Moore, & Shelby (Josh) Bytwerk; 6 great grandchildren; Jack and Max Kurburski, Hannah and Grace Moore, Sophie and Maggie Bytwerk; 2 sisters; Pauline Shears, Spring Lake & June Bird, Muskegon, Mi.; 1 brother; Jim (Joyce) Moore, Jenison, Mi., several nieces and nephews; 2 brothers; Bob and Allen Moore preceded him in death. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Spring Lake with Pastor Josh Bytwerk officiating. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family 1:00 a�"2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Memorial Contributions to the First Baptist Church of Spring Lake.
