Scott Hartley, born in Carthage, MO on May 15th, 1961 to Dorothy (McClintock) Hartley and Richard Milo Hartley, died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on July 17th, 2019.

He was united in marriage to Kelly (Baugh) on September 18th, 1987. She survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Kailey, of Carthage, and daughter, Ryann (Anna), of Washburn. He was "Poppy" to grandchildren, Graham Milo and Collin Rose, also of Washburn. He is survived by father, Richard Milo Hartley; brothers, Denny (Sandy) and Tom (Sara), all of Carthage. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rosetta Hales, of Carthage; and sisters-in-law, Kimmy Baugh, of Carthage, and Kerry Burns, of Kansas City. Scott is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his life-long best friend, Steve Hoenshell, of Webb City.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Hartley, in 2008; and his father-in-law, Dave Baugh, in 1995.

Visitation will be held at Jasper United Methodist Church on Monday, July 23rd, from 5-7 p.m. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date.

Because of Scott's love of the game of golf and especially his love for the Carthage Golf Course and all his golf buddies, memorial donations are suggested to the Carthage Men's Golf Association Scott Hartley Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Weng Funeral Chapel.
