MANSFIELD: Amanda Lea (Shafer) Binkley, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Perrysville.

She was born February 11, 1988, in Mansfield and was the daughter of Todd Murray and Sherry Shafer. Amanda attended Clear Fork High School with the class of 2006 and later earned her GED. She was a mother to three, beautiful children: Anoka, Holden, and Benjamin.

Amanda worked for various auto part stores and knew her way around an engine. In her spare time, she liked to play her guitar, go boating, and enjoy nature. She will be remembered for her natural beauty, laughter and humor. She could light up any room she walked into.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Binkley of Decatur, Indiana; Todd (Liz) Murray of Paulding, Ohio; daughter Anoka Shafer of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sons Holden and Benjamin Huffman of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Also survived by her loving nephew, Kavern Delarwelle of Bellville, Ohio; grandparents Doug and Pat Johnson of Mansfield, Ohio; Robert Swartz of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including her Great-Aunt Anoka Jane Lewis of Mansfield; and two, lifelong friends who served as father-figures to her, Lyle Meeker and Bob Waud.

She was proceeded in death by her sister, Melissa Jane “Missy” Shafer in 2001; her mother Sherry Lynn Shafer in 2009; and maternal grandparents Jerry and Ellen (Lewis) Hursh.

A graveside service in Bellville Cemetery will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020, officiated by Pastor TJ Waters. Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chairs.
