Matthew Bletcher, a pioneer farmer of this county whose home has been for years near Algerine, died Thursday morning at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Crane in this city. The deceased leaves no relatives. His estate consists of a ranch near Algerine. He was buried yesterday afternoon.
Matthew had immigrated to the United States in 1849, and he had followed the mining industry during his earliest years in this country. He and his wife had no children.
