Carol L. Heimann, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away May 5, 2017, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Carol was born May 12, 1942 to the late Ralph and Gladys (Jaeger) Lau. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1960. In 1961 she attended the American Academy for Medical Assistants. On May 8, 1965, she married Robert Heimann in Charlesburg. He preceded her in death in 1996. Carol was employed as a nursing assistant for 21 years and a teacher's assistant for the Sheboygan school district for 20 years. She retired in 2004. Carol enjoyed gardening, having flowers and spending time with family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, shopping and loved her road trips up north to casinos with friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori Heimann, Sheboygan and Vicki (Dan) Thomas, Lomira; three grandchildren, Nate, Paige and Lydia Thomas, Lomira; one brother, Kurt (Sue) Lau; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Lau and Rosemary Schneider.

In addition to her husband, Robert and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at Ebenezer United Church of Christ (3215 Saemann Avenue, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Lori Stewart officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove). Visitation will continue on Thursday, at the church, from 9:00 am until the time of service.
