Sharon Gomez Carstensen
Sharon was born May 4, 1948, Boston, MA, to Vernon "Lefty" Gomez, Baseball Hall of Famer and June O'Dea, Broadway Star.

Sharon is survived by her son Scott, sister Vernona, and sister-in-law Linda. Proud aunt to 10 nieces and 5 nephews, she was preceded in death by brothers Duane and Gery.

A graduate of San Diego State University, with a BA in Sociology, she leaves behind a successful 40 year career in commercial property management. Sharon was a devout Catholic and lover of animals, especially her cats. Always the helping neighbor, she was known for her generosity and genuine care for others.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at St. Rita's Church in Fairfax. Donations are requested to the Marin County Humane Society.
