Jean L. Marshall, 59, of Wilmette, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, at Donnellan Family Funeral Home in Skokie. A memorial fund has been established in her memory.
Private family graveside services were held with burial in the Montrose Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
Jean Lynn Newcomb was born July 14, 1948, in Chicago, the daughter of Eugene and Katie (Eifler) Newcomb. She was raised in Wilmette and graduated from New Trier High School in 1966. She married William Marshall and were later divorced. She was employed with Jewel Foods and worked her way up to the position of Personnel Coordinator, until she retired after 30 years. She enjoyed making jewelry and crafts, traveling and spending time with her dear pets. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Marshall; one son, Philip Marshall; and her former husband, William Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
