Robert A. Moyer
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Robert A. Moyer, 73, of 370 53rd Avenue North, former area resident and retired service station operator, died today at 2 a.m. in the Metropolitan General Hospital, Pinellas Park.
Mr. Moyer lived in Sunbury until 1933 when he moved to Shamokin Dam. He was formerly employed by the BKW Coach Line, Hummels Wharf. Until 1959 he owned and operated the West Side Service Station, Shamokin Dam.
Born in Sunbury Oct. 7, 1902, he was a son of the late James J. and Annie Suffel Moyer.
After moving to Florida, he worked for the Godon Swango Service Station in St. Petersburg until his retirement In 1968.
Mr. Moyer was of the United Methodist faith and a member of the Sunbury Elks Club.
His widow, the former Mary A. Gargie to whom he was married 50 years, survives. He was the last of his immediate family.
Funeral arrangements will be announced Monday by the Zweier Funeral Home, Sunbury.

ST. PETERSBURG. Fla. - The funeral for Robert A. Moyer, 73, of 370 51rd Avenue Ninth, former area resident, will be conducted at 1:30 p m. Wednesday in the Zweier Funeral Home, Sunbury.
The Rev. David Keller, pastor of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Sunbury, will officiate. Burial will be in West Side Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
