Johann Leopold, Erbprinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, Herzog von Sachsen (full given name: Johann Leopold Wilhelm Albert Ferdinand Viktor), was the eldest son of Karl Eduard, Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, Herzog von Sachsen, and his wife, Prinzessin Viktoria Adelheid von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. He was married morganatically at Dresden on March 4, 1932 to Freiin Feodora von der Horst, with whom he had issue. They were divorced in 1962. He was married at Bad Reichenhall on May 3, 1963 to Maria Theresia Elisabeth Reindl. The second marriage was childless.
