Funeral services for William Henry Allen, 72, Athens Rt. 5, were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel. James Bridges was the officiating minister. Burial was in Dement Cemetery.
Mr. Allen died at 11:15 a.m. Monday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alma E. Allen, Athens Rt. 5; a daughter, Mrs. Annie B. Pugh, Lincoln Park, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Sudie Goode, Decatur; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Allen was a lifelong resident of Limestone County and had been in charge of Lucy's Branch Park for the past 12 years.
