Roger C. Austin SYKESVILLE
Roger C. Austin, 75, of Sykesville, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1992, at Baltimore County General Hospital. Born Feb. 20, 1916, he was the son of the late Carroll and Emma Austin. He was the husband of the late Betty Virginia Tibbs Austin who died in 1980. He was retired from retired from the Baltimore City Bureau of Water Supply. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Austin of Finksburg and Douglas Austin of Reisterstown; two daughters, Judy Shugars of Westminster and Bonnie Lou Austin of Reisterstown; one sister, Fannie Miller of Hampstead; one brother, Paul Austin of Reisterstown; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, Owings Mills, with the Rev. Milton Benny officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. Friends may call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
