Arnold E. Ford, 87 of Scottsdale, AZ passed away Sunday Sept. 16th at his home. Born Nov. 5, 1919 in DeLeon, TX, he served in World War II as a Navy Medic assigned to the Marines in the Pacific Theater. Arnold retired from American Stores as the Sr. Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary K. Ford; daughter Cindy F. Abbott, son Buck and daughter-in-law Terri L. Ford, grandchildren Jason A., Buck L. Jr. and Erin E. Ford, and sister Martha June and brother-in-law Jerry Sides. Arnold was blessed with many long time friends; he lived a good life and had lots of fun. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Thursday Sept. 21st at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley; 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 Messinger Indian School Mortuary assisted the family.
