Leonard LeSage died Saturday (Sept. 1, 2007) at Watseka Health Care Center.
Mr. LeSage was a barber. He had also been a precinct committeeman of Middleport 2.

Leonard was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Watseka, the son of Thomas E. and Rosalie Leonard LeSage. He was a member of the Watseka Elks and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, the former Buethene Muller, whom he married Sept. 1, 1951, in Watseka; two daughters and one son-in-law, Glilda and Greg Maurer of Gridley, Stacia LeSage of Watseka; five grandchildren, Amanda and Drew Goebel, Jennifer Maurer, Matthew Maurer, Joey LeSage, Jonathan LeSage; one great-granddaughter, Kate Goebel; one sister-in-law, Sis LeSage of Watseka; and four nieces and one nephew.
Deceased are his parents, one daughter

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, with a 6:30 p.m. Elks service and a 7 p.m. rosary service, at the Baier Funeral Home, Watseka. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edmund's Catholic Church, Watseka, where he was a member. Father Lee Ryan will officiate.Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watseka. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the donor's choice.
