Edna Brummitt Clay,72,Of Big Stone Gap, VA.
Died Saturday March 8,1997 at her home due to cancer.
Mrs. Clay was born in Stonega,VA. and had lived in Lower Exeter for 47 years before moving to Big Stone Gap in December of 1996.She was a member of the Exeter Methodist Church.
Mrs. Clay was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Edward Clay. Her parents Martha Otie and James Roy Brummitt Sr.
Five Sisters:
Pearl Ashley, Pauline Hartford, Jessie Mae Scott,
Mary Christian And Willie Bell Dunlop.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law.
Joseph(Joey) and Jennifer Clay of Big Stone Gap.
Granddaughter Harley Morgan Clay Of Big Stone Gap.
Godson: Robert Bell of Big Stone Gap. Sister Mabel Swinney Of Big Stone Gap. Brothers James Roy Brummitt Jr. and Malcolm Brummitt both of Big Stone Gap. And Walter Brummitt of Largo, FL .Several Nieces and Nephew.
