Dear mother of Sheila Murray (husband Gordon), Mississauga; Roy O'Brien (wife Lola), Picton; John Farquharson (wife Helia), Petawawa; and Ann O'Dacre (husband John) Stittsville. Predeceased by daughter Maureen Russell (husband late Norman) and son Jackie O'Brien. Gramma to Norman, Charles, Catherine, Bruce, Tim, Jennifer, Paula, Steve, Shelley, Colleen, Tina, John D., Jeffrey, Ann Marie, Kristina, Mark and Michael; and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Roy Giesebrecht (wife Teresa), Petawawa; Bruce Giesebrecht (wife late Irene), Pembroke; and Barbara Edmonds (husband late Mac), Petawawa. Daughter of the late Eugene and Bertha Giesebrecht (nee Loback). Predeceased by sisters Alice Giesebrecht, Dorothy Simon, Hilda Raby, Helen Blanchfield, Earla Simon; and brothers Fred, Jack, Richard "Dick", and Bert Giesebrecht. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Cobden Union Cemetery.
