Shirley Mae Krejcie, age 93, a resident at Central Baptist Village, Norridge, Illinois, entered eternal life at Central Baptist Village on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
Shirley was born August 30, 1921 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Hardow Woerfel. On November 26, 1947 she married Clarence Krejcie in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1979. Shirley was a long time member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church. She left her home in Manitowoc and moved to Central Baptist Village in Norridge, Illinois where she has resided since January 2010.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Tom and Valerie Krejcie, Skokie, IL; James Krejcie, Chicago, IL; grandsons: Ben and Jessica (DeLaRosa) Krejcie, Naperville, IL; Alex Krejcie, Chicago, IL; many nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Dorothy Woerfel; her husband: Clarence; brothers and sisters: Evelyn Hansen, Roy Woerfel, Rose Schneck, June Evenson, and William Woerfel.
Funeral services will be held 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Benjamin Schaefer with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:45 p.m.
