Ace Bently Calton, of Scipio, Oklahoma died Friday evening in Indianola at the age of 13.
The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home, McAlester.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Fred Morrison officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chayton LeFlore, Braxton LeFlore, Nickolas Stewart, Isaiah Beard, and Tyler Cravines.
Ace was born on July 27, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Brittany Stewart and Robert Calton.
Ace was in the 7th grade at Indianola Junior High. He enjoyed fishing at the lake, being outdoors, and playing board games with his cousins. He spent 10 years in California fishing and swimming in the ocean. He was a loving brother to his siblings. He had a huge heart for all people and any stray animals he ran across.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his mother: Brittany Stewart of the home; his father: Robert Calton of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his closest two little sisters: Auburn and Georgia; his doting grandmother: Karen Stewart of Scipio; his loving aunt and uncle: Gia Elfers, and Jett Elfers; his brothers and sisters: Robert Smith, Robert Williams, Tyffany Harris, Asia Hirschman, Dante Calton, Shawnyah Calton, Jayda Calton, Marcus Calton, Zion Peters, and Tyree Cardwell; his great-grandmothers: Mildred Beard of Scipio and Darlene Romine of Indianola; his aunt: Jolie Romine of Davis; his uncle: Jordyn Romine of Davis; his grandfather: Joe Romine; and numerous loving cousins, other aunts and uncles, family, and friends.
Ace is preceded in death by his grandmother: Georgia Calton, and great-grandfathers: Larry Romine and Otto Beard; a brother: Westly Calton; and an uncle: Wayne Calton.
