Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late David Crockett Ellison, Sr. and Botie Ellison. He was a business man, having owned F & S Textile Repair Parts, inc. for thirty years before retiring. He was a past President and active member of CORSA SC, enjoyed square dancing with his wife and working with his hands. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church for 60+ years.
He is survived by his son, Anthony "Tony" Lynn Ellison (Patti) of Pelzer; daughter, Teresa E. Foster (Greg) of Liberty; son, David "Barry" Ellison (Patty) of Piedmont; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He will also be sorely missed by his lifelong Corvair friends and community.
Along with his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his brothers and sisters and two great-grandchildren.
