Betty Lou Bailey, 72, of Warrenton, MO, passed away September 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Lake St. Louis, MO. She was born April 4, 1948 in Sturdivant, MO, the daughter of John Clarence and Iva Iona Joan Shrout Bailey.
Betty had a very special relationship with her grandsons, Luke and Jake. She loved them beyond measure and was proud to be their grandmother. One of Bettys beloved hobbies was reading mystery novels, like The Hardy Boys. She enjoyed sharing books with her sisters.
Survivors include: a daughter, Bethany (Joseph) Luper of Nashville, TN two grandsons, Jake and Luke Luper four step-grandchildren, Matthew, Lucas, David and Elizabeth four step-great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Peter, Braxtyn and Violet a brother, Paul Glen Bailey of Fairdealing, MO three sisters, Mary Jo Fitzpatrick of Warrenton, Pat Robert of Cape Girardeau and Helen Fisher of Marble Falls, TX.
A visitation will be held on Thursday October 1, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
