Juanita E. Brown, 75, Ottawa, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at her home. Services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.

She was born Aug. 5, 1932, at Kansas City, Mo., to Lee Olin and Ethel Catrina (Moorman) Thomas.

She lived at Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo. She moved to Ottawa in 1949.

She attended Shawnee Misson High School through 11th grade. She earned her G.E.D. in 1970.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Ottawa, a past member of Worthwhile EHU and a charter member of Modern Homemakers EHU.

She worked as an assembler for King Radio for 15 years. She retired in 1993.

She married Dale Dean Brown Aug. 5, 1950, at Ottawa. He preceded her in death Aug. 18, 1993.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (Brown) Thompson, Lawrence; sons, Thomas Brown, and his wife, Mitze, Ottawa, Clark Brown, New Century, and Kevin Brown and Angela Mundy, Garnett; a sister, Dona Lee Smith, and her husband, Leroy C., Napoleon, Mo.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation is planned.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
