Frances "Fanny" (Alexander) Aiken of Pencader, New Castle Co., Delaware, was the daughter of Francis Alexander and the wife of John Aiken, an innkeeper, who ran Aiken's Tavern in Glasgow, Delaware, during the Revolutionary War. Frances died in 1788, leaving a will which mentions her children Fanny, James, John, Robert, and Matthew Aiken.
