Annie was the daughter of Thomas Riley and Jane Crozer; she was the wife of William "Butts" McCabe. Her children were Benjamin and Genevieve.

Tuesday, April 17, 1951, Chester (PA.) Times: Mrs. Annie L. Riley McCabe, 81, widow of William McCabe, of 221 Madison av., Prospect Park, died on Sunday after an illness of about four months. Mrs. McCabe was born and raised in Chester. She was a member of Lady Millers' Lodge No. 6 of Wilmington. Her husband, the late William (Butts) McCabe, was a widely known local baseball player many years ago, playing on such teams as the old Chester Athletics. She leaves a son, Benjamin T., with whom she lived, and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Boyer, Linwood. There are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the E.F. White funeral home, 3d and Norris streets, with burial in Chester Rural Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth R. Boohar, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
