Richard Peter Prusa
January 7, 1930 - October 5, 2020

Richard Peter Prusa, 90, passed away peacefully Monday, October 5, 2020 escorted to heaven by the most radiant and brightest of angels, where a family reunion had been planned and all his loved ones were waiting anxiously to celebrate Richards arrival. He smiled three times on his last night on earth and we just knew he could see what waited ahead and was every bit as anxious to join them.

Richard loved a good game of poker and was an avid golfer at Stonebrook for well over 20 years, after moving to the Gulf Coast, as well as a very loyal Chicago Bears fan till the end.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie; daughter, Roberta Marie; son, Richard Joseph; his grandson, Charles Peter; as well as all his siblings and family who entered heaven before him.

Richard has left behind on this earth to cherish memories his three granddaughters, Alyson, Ella and Emma Prusa; daughter-in-law, Maria Prusa Geri; as well as step-grandson, William Coxwell.

Private family services will be held.
The family would like to thank all the nurses in Cottage 2 at Waterford at Creekside for the loving care they gave Rich the six months he resided there. As well as special thanks to Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital, I was truly touched by the love, compassion and attendance he got round the clock, he had very little, if any pain at end. He had a very beautiful and peaceful departure.

This is not goodbye, Rich, this is until we meet again, and we all will one day. In our hearts forever...
