Gina lived in Springfield, Ill prior to moving to Lawrence, Ks. She had also lived for awhile in Topeka, Ks. Gina attended Lawrence High School until 1985. She later earned her GED.
Gina and Randy met in 1995. Lived together until they got married on Sept. 17, 1999. Randy and Gina moved to Guthrie, OK. August of 2000. They resided with Randy's mom, Shelly. In October of 2000 everyone moved to a house just outside of Edmond, OK. They all lived together for about 5 years, until Shelly moved to Cashion, OK. Randy and Gina remained at the house in Edmond until Gina's passing on September 21, 2007
Gina was diagnosed with Diabetes at the young age of 18 months. She was insulin dependent. Gina was a true fighter. She fought a hard battle with her diabetes. She had several surgeries on her eyes to keep her eye sight. Gina was placed on dialysis due to kidney failure in 2002. She was also on a dual transplant list for kidney and pancreas. Gina developed problems with her heart in 2007. She was undergoing heart surgery at Deaconess Hospital. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Ok. the time of her passing.
She was survived by her husband, Douglas R. Evans Jr.; her mother, Glenda K. Snyders; her step-father Jim Snyders Sr.; three brothers, Jim Snyders, Jr.; Timothy Snyders; Tom Synders.
Gina was also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. She will be missed by many but never forgotten. We will always love her.
