A native of Brownsburg, Mrs. Garner was born July 22, 1932, a daughter of Allen and Edith (Adams) Elkin. She was a member of the Brownsburg Christian Church and was co-leader of Hendricks County4-H.
Survivors include her husband, Don; her mother; four daughters, Donna Menchhofer, Brenda Upchurch, Debra Smith and Breta Garner, all of Brownsburg; three grandchildren, and a sister, Sue Martin of Indianapolis.
