Mr. Brownell was married in 1903 to the former Miss Young, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Young, of Oshkosh. She had left this city in 1889.
The deceased was born Feb. 21. 1868, at Quincy. Mich., but removed to Chicago when a young man. He had resided there for forty-five years. Up to the time of his fatal illness, he had been a public auditor for the Commonwealth Shoe and Leather company of Boston, stationed at Chicago.
The only immediate survivor is Mrs. Brownell. Other relatives are two nieces and two nephews, resident of Cleveland. O. and two cousins, who live at Washington, D C.
Final riles will be held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Spikes & McDonald funeral home. Court and Otter streets, with commitment at Riverside cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the funeral home from Friday evening to the time of the services.
