Clell was born December 23, 1934 to the late Clayton and Mittie Ellen (Stewart) Ware, in Picher, Oklahoma.
In 1982 he married Loretta (Crawford); she survives, of the home.
He was a truck driver for many years, retiring from Miami Ready-mix in 1997. Clell served his community for 26 years as a volunteer fireman for Picher, Oklahoma; and also served our country in the US Army in the fifties. Traveling was a favorite activity of his; enjoying long trips with Loretta. Clell also enjoyed fishing and camping.
Also surviving are five children: Jerry Russell Ware (wife Tammy) of Southwest City, MO; BLinda Smith of Jordan, Montana; Glenda (husband Gary) of Keleen, Texas; Stormy Dawn Ware of Grove, OK; and Bea Crockett (husband Rick) of Minden Mines, MO; four step-children: Debbie Wilson (husband Frank) of Columbus, KS; Kathy Prayor (husband John) of Miami, OK; Jerri Burton (husband Dale) of Columbus, KS; Terri Christmas (husband Ronnie) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sisters: Birdie Gideon of Nixa, MO; and Delores Woods of Branson, MO; 20 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home in Columbus. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
