Mrs. Otto (Clara J.) Bebow, 76, of 118 E. Ninth St., who was the pastry chef at Stateson’s Restaurant for 12 years, died at 8:48 p.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1899, at Milladore, Wis., a daughter of David and Emma Pinnow Richardson. She was graduated from Stevens Point High School and Stevens Point Normal School
On May 24, 1922, she was married at Milladore, and she and her husband farmed in the Town of Byron, and in 1956 they moved to Fond du Lac to the present address.
Mrs. Bebow was formerly employed as a clerk at the Milladore General Store. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and Gleaners Sunday School Class.
Surviving are her widower; three daughters, Mrs. James R. (Evelyn) Smith of Route 6, Mrs. Donald E. (Eileen) May of Middleton and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Behrens of Madison; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. William (Mamie) Hetze of Milladore, Mrs. Rudy (Marge) Beitz and Mrs. Walter (Emma) Thode both of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Walter (Rosella) Roth of Junction City; and a brother, William Richardson of Milladore. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Salem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Solomon G. Cramer will officiate, and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends of Mrs. Bebow may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Candlish Chapel, and thereafter at the church until the time of services.
