Mrs Lucille Bailey Ratliff, 69, of Rt 1, Box 543, Bluefield, died Wednesday in a Durham, N.C. hospital following a short illness. Born July 29, 1916 in Midway, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Della Perdue Russell. Mrs Ratliff was a lifelong resident of the Bluefield area, co-owner of Sister's Mobile Home Park at Brush Field, a member of the Bluefield Moose 565, and was a member of the Midway Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, James W Ratliff, one stepson and three stepdaughters, one brother, Leo Russell of Brush Fork, two sisters, Norine Keaton of Brush Fork and Leatha Gregory of Bluefield.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 am at Cravens-Shire Funeral Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev Clifford Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell. Friends may call today from 7 pm to 9pm.
