"Country Correspondence - Doniphan"
Myrtle May Harshfield was born Oct. 10, 1876, at Erlhain, Ia., and passed away at her home near Prosser, dec. 2, 1911, aged thirty-five years, one month and twenty-two days. She lived at place of birth until nine years of age when she came with her parents to Doniphan. August 23, 1899, she was united in marriage to Chas. F. Creason to whom she was a true and loving wife. Mrs. Creason leaves her husband and two children, Eva and Everett, her father, Chas. Harshfield, and step-mother of Doniphan; one sister, Mrs. Kainforth, of Litchfield; two half-sisters and four half-brothers to lament the loss of a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She became a Christian about twenty year ago and soon after moving to Prosser she and her husband became members of the Christian church, of which she was a loyal and consecrated member at the time of her death. She died as she had lived in trusting submission to the Master's will, saying "Not my will but Thine, Oh, God, be done." She was laid to rest in Doniphan cemetery Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Mrs. Charles Creason passed away at her home near Prosser Saturday morning. Mrs. Creason had been ill for several years. The funeral services were held at the house Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The body was laid by the side of her mother in the Doniphan cemetery.
