1LT US ARMYDoris L. Arvan (nee Johnson) of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on Friday September 20, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton at the age of 88 years.

Doris was born in Two Rivers, WI on August 28, 1931 to the late Frederick & Lena (nee Waskow) Johnson and married the late Nicholas P. Arvan in June of 1950.

Doris is survived by her children; Michael (Vickey) Wandrey of West Bend, Kathryn Esser of Menasha, David Wandrey of Franklin, Mary (Pat) Doherty of Grafton and John (Cari) Wandrey of West Bend. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 5, 11 AM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday October 5, from 9 – 10:45 AM. Memorials of your choice appreciated.

We are who we are because of our mother's love. She gave us everything she could. Her love for family and art will live in our memories forever.
