Barbara was born in about 1802 to Jacob Keyser (1769-1848) and Margaret Heminger (1771-1830) in Pennsylvania. As a young child her family moved to Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio. In 1825, in Stark Co., she married Jacob Burn (1793-1801), the son of Jacob Burn Sr. (1769-1848) and his mother I can not determine. Sometime before 1835 they moved to Wood County, Ohio. They were the parents of 11 children.
There is a grave stone marker of some size for her husband, Jacob, but Barbara's name is not engraved there. Apparently she died after her husband and no one had her name engraved on the stone. She is on the 1880 census, so her death would have been after that time.
