Raymond was a graduate of Liberty High School in 1944 and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired in 1989 as a Senior Vice President of retail operations for Chrysler First of Allentown; formerly GAC, Finance America and Nations Credit; after 40 years of loyal service, where he handled their accounts for Toyota and Mitsubishi. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown and a member of Lehigh Country Club since 1989. During the 1980's, in his free time, he coached football and served as President of the Northwestern Youth Athletic Association. For many years he served as a volunteer fire fighter for the New Tripoli Fire Department. His hobbies included golfing, hunting and watching football.
Survivors: Wife; 5 Sons, Gregory Bucchin, Jeffrey Bucchin, Timothy Bucchin, Michael Bucchin and Matthew Bucchin; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Frances Bucchin of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by brothers, James Bucchin, Thomas Bucchin and Frank Bucchin.
Services: A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, 3231 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, PA. Call 10 to 11:00AM Friday in the church. Arrangements by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home.
