Mary Ann was born on February 11, 1941 in Fredric, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Rozinski) Martin. She was a graduate of Fredric High School, class of 1959. She went on to further her studies at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, graduating in 1963. Mary Ann decided she needed a change and moved across the state to teach at Reedsville High School. Here she met John Vondrachek, and they were married on August 3, 1968 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Fredric. Mary Ann enjoyed bowling in the ladies’ league on Wednesday nights, and she especially loved spending time with her family.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, John of Reedsville; three sons and one daughter-in-law: Scott (Ann) of Chesterfield, MI, Greg of Green Bay, and Jef of Suamico; two granddaughters: Evelyn and Elizabeth; her siblings and their spouses: Jerome Martin, Theresa (Ray) Siverling, Duane Martin, Ronald (Sharon) Martin, Daniel Martin, Jeanette (David) Harder, Lois (Kenneth) Ruhn, Suzanne Hecker; half-sister: Jolynn (Doug) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Steven John, and her brother Joseph "Tuffy" Martin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 NOON p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating will be Father Kevin Ori and Deacon Greg Van Thiel. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
