Janean Lorraine Ray Adams, 36, of Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 19th, 2020. She was born on December 19th, 1983 to Monica Ray and Kenneth Hackett in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She attended Pike High School, later graduating from Broad Ripple High School in 2001.
While she was employed at UPS in 2003, Janean met the love of her life, James Adams Jr. She affectionately called him "Mo Jo" and they shared a deep and lasting love for each other. They married in a beautiful ceremony on August 15th, 2015 in Indianapolis. It was a wonderful occasion that knitted together two hearts and two families.
Janean currently worked for Stericycle where she was affectionately loved by her co-workers. She had a true passion for children and family. She would not pass up the opportunity to host an event at her home, take little cousins or her best friend's children swimming or just hang out with friends, going to movies or shopping. Cooking and baking were a few of the ways she showed love. Chicken & noodles was her specialty dish, and German chocolate cake was her specialty dessert. Janean touched many lives with her beautiful smile, quirky mannerisms, and kind spirit, which will never be forgotten.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Kenneth Hackett.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James Adams Jr.; mother, Monica Ray; her maternal grandparents Patricia Ray and John "Marty" Ray; her paternal grandmother, Dianna Brewer; her parents in-law, James Adams Senior and Judith Adams along with a host of family and friends.
